Sarah Mclachlan born January 28, 1968 in Bedford, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Arrived on the scene at the age of 20 years, you immediately put on display with a stunning debut album TOUCH (1988), in which the young artist that already expresses the most out of his compositional style and music. The next album, SOLACE (1991), moves up even more rarefied atmosphere, which is followed by Fumbling Towards Ecstasy (1992), work involving Pierre Marchand, who has worked with Daniel Lanois (U2, Bob Dylan) and this makes sounds even more sophisticated. In 1997 it was the turn of SURFING fourth album artist, album and hugely successful in 2003, however – after a break from the music world -comes Afterglow Live ,work that wins four times platinum .
BLOOM is published in August 2005, made from material already afterglow. The next year is the turn of Mirrorball: The Complete CONCERT, followed Wintersong, a collection of traditional and modern Christmas songs.
Instead, in 2008 published a collection of b-sides (Rarities, B-SIDES AND THE THE OTHER STUFF VOL.2) and a greatest hits (CLOSER. THE BEST OF SARAH McLachlan).
