After a couple of EPs published as final, the debut album SILENT ALARM comes out in early 2005, after a tour as a support to Interpol. The debut is dazzling and Bloc Party sell a million copies worldwide. In early 2007, Kele Okereke and company prints the expected damage to the second chapter with the title A WEEKEND IN THE CITY, an album that repeats the formula of the first, a meeting point between indie-rock dance and melancholic.
At the end of August 2008, Bloc Party, with a surprise move, make available (fee) the new album INTIMACY for download on their website, looking for the month of October, the release date of the physical disk.

Began his musical career at age fourteen, performing in several local bands, having completed his studies, he joined a cover band called Tommy Cranck Band and their durations during this period also bought his first Carl Thompson bass, which became his trademark factory. Discarded from Metallica to play bass, he plays first with Blind Illusion – that in 1988 they released the album SANE ASYLUM – and then with Primus. The first record of this group is O SUCK THIS, live work that is carried to success, thanks to the college radio circuit, followed by Frizzle Fry (1990), while SAILING THE SEAS OF CHEESE, major label debut for Interscope, it becomes hard d ‘gold bringing the group to open the concerts of various artists like Public Enemy, Anthrax, U2, Fishbone, and Rush.
<!--

After the republication of “Song to the Siren” on the label Junior Boys Own by Andrew Weatherall and the release of two EP-based loop totally freaked out (“14th Century Sky” and “My Mercury Mouth”), Tom and Ed remix tracks by Manic Street Preachers, Charlatans, Justin Warfield, Leftfield, Primal Scream, and others, at which point you turn unprecedented competition among record labels to get them under contract. In May 1995, the Chemical Brothers signed with Virgin, they create their own brand Freestyle Dust and put into circulation a mess of punk rock incredible impact, “Leave Home”, entering the Top 20, and in June following their debut album, EXIT PLANET DUST, with the vocal participation of Tim Burgess of Charlatans in “Life is sweet” and Beth Orton “Alive: Alone”. EXIT PLANET DUST provides for the first time a complete sonic inventiveness of the Chemical Brothers, with fast-paced, action steps and funky space monsters totally gutted. Without much fanfare, with the Underworld and Orbital Chemicals will make a reputation in the United States where the stagnant music scene feels the need for new stimuli. After the EP limited edition “Loops of Fury”, the disco hit (20,000 copies sold out in four days), April 1997′s DIG YOUR OWN HOLE, preceded by the highly successful single “Block rockin ‘beats”, while a year and After half time the album is the remix of “Brother’s gonna work it out.”

In 1999 the group back on track with a strong album with psychedelic colors, SURRENDER. On 20 March 2001 Tom Rowlands, the duo’s long-haired, clean cut by a stag and his long hair uniting in marriage to his girlfriend Vanessa. In 2002 released COME WITH U.S., a record that sees the former singer Beth Orton and Richard Ashcroft of the Verve as a guest. In 2003 the duo collects all the singles released from 1993 to 2003 in a single compilation, on which also includes two unreleased tracks: “Get yourself high” and “The Golden Path” (the latter with host Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips). In 2005, Ed Simons and Tom Rowlands produce PUSH THE BUTTON, their fifth album, with the participation of Tim Burgess of the Charlatans, the rapper Q-Tip, Kele Okereke (lead singer of Bloc Party), Anwar Superstar (brother of Mos Def) and English Magic Numbers.

In 2007, after publishing an anonymous ultra-limited preview titled “Electronic Battle Weapon 8 & 9″, the duo returns with a new work called WE ARE THE NIGHT, which also take part as guests Klaxons, Ali Love, Fatlip , Willy Mason and Midlake Texans.
Known for her turbulent marriage to Whitney Houston, began his career as a member of the R & B band New Edition, with whom he made several hit songs as “Candy Girl” “Cool it now” and “Mr. Telephone Man.” After the experience with the group in 1986, produces the same year his first solo album, KING OF STAGE, but it did not work out to be very lucky.
<!--
Two years later it’s time to DO NOT BE CRUEL, but that is a big success, thanks to collaboration with the production team made up of LA Reid and Babyface. The third album – BOBBY – released in 1992, the disc comes in second on the Billboard charts and the single extracted from it – “Humpin ‘Around” – instead of winning the third place. For a new job (so far last) – FOREVER – it was not until 1998 and in 2002 instead of participating with the song “Thug Lovin ‘” in the disk THE LAST TEMPTATION by Ja Rule. In 2006, Brown took part in the disk instead of Damina Marley Welcome To Jamrock and the work of Mike Jones VOICES OF THE STREETS.
